Sydney
has always been on our list of "must do" places. We took advantage
of the opportunity to enjoy it for three fabulous days before boarding the Sun
Princess. Despite a serious case of jet lag and intermittent downpours, we managed
to do quite a lot. Favorites were the Opera House, staying in and exploring
"The Rocks" district, historic buildings juxtaposed next to modern
high rises, hiking around the Manly headlands, the
vibrant Circular Quay and superb ferry system, friendly
people, and great beer. And, while we were at it, we squeezed in our 20th wedding
anniversary....
