Continuing past Kalalau Overlook to the end of the road takes you to Pu'u o Kila Overlook. Although a virtual twin of Kalalau, it is more magnificent because so much more of this spectacular valley comes into view.

This marks the trailhead for the popular Pihea Trail which we had intended to do. Arriving too late in the day, however, we had to leave it in our bucket list for next trip.
