Kalapaki Beach is a pleasant beach next to Kauai's Nawiliwili Harbor. During our late-afternoon visit, the tradewinds were churning up some good boogie-boarding waves.

In addition to boogie-boarding enthusiasts, lifeguards were staging beach contests, visitors from an NCL ship were enjoying the sunshine, and happy hour music from Duke's Canoe Club was spilling out to the beach.
